Colleen has been a journalist for more than 20 years and has held editorial positions at Boating World, Marie Claire, and Women's Health & Fitness magazine. 

Her articles, essays, and interviews have been featured in The New York Times, Ladies' Home Journal, Marie Claire, Women's Health, Redbook, Parade, Fitness, Health, Martha Stewart Weddings, Woman's Day, Shape, Pregnancy and Newborn, and Breathe. She is also the author of five novels. Her latest novel, "The Mostly True Story of Tanner & Louise," was published in March 2023.
