Candace Nelson, MS, CN, is an award-winning journalist specializing in health and condition care. She is passionate about preventing chronic conditions. Candace has written for Mayo Clinic, MSN.com, and many consumer magazines. She also volunteers with food security programs and tutors elementary school students in reading.
Candace holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Western Washington University and a master's degree in nutrition from the University of New England. She is a licensed nutritionist in Washington state.
