Beth Weinhouse has been a working journalist for almost four decades, beginning her career as an editor at magazines such as Ladies’ Home Journal, Self, Conceive, Parenting, Physicians’ Life, Reader’s Digest, and Prevention.
She’s also been a contributor to many other magazines and websites including Health, American Health, RxRemedy, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Columbia Magazine, and Real Simple. Conceive Magazine won a gold Folio award under Weinhouse’s editorship.
She’s a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists. She has also taught magazine feature writing at Montclair State University. Weinhouse is the author of The Healthy Traveler and co-author of Outrageous Practices: How Gender Bias Threatens Women's Health.
Beth Weinhouse has an A.B. from Brown University and a M.S. in journalism from Columbia University.
