Asaff Harel, MD, is Neurologist specializing in multiple sclerosis and related neuro-immunological conditions, serving as the Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center at Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Health. He also practices at Northwell Neuroscience Institute in Manhasset, New York.

Education

Dr. Harel completed his medical degree at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, joining the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He was also awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship there. He completed both his neurology residency and a multiple sclerosis/neuroimmunology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. He completed his bachelor's and master's degrees at Brandeis University, followed by a year of working in research at the National Institutes of Health.
