Andrea King Collier has been reporting about medicine, public health, healthcare, and healthcare policy for more than three decades. Her work on health, education, and family issues has appeared in publications including O, the Oprah Magazine; AARP Magazine; Essence; Black Enterprise; The New York Times; and The Washington Post. Andrea is the author of “Still With Me: A Daughter’s Journey of Love and Loss” about her mother’s battle with ovarian cancer, and she is co-author of “The Black Woman’s Guide to Black Men’s Health.” She is also a 2021-2022 Rosalynn Carter fellow for Mental Health Journalism.
