Amber is a speaker, facilitator, and advocate for people with inflammatory bowel disease as well as a freelance writer and editor for medical websites and publications. She was previously a copy editor and staff writer for a medical publishing house that produced specialty medical journals for physicians. She also served as group web producer for the same publisher, working on several websites that provided clinical information for healthcare providers.
Amber graduated with a bachelor's degree in environmental science from Michigan State University. She also has a background in programming from Norwalk Community College.
