Ali Malik, MD, is a contributor to GoodRx and is currently a fellow specializing in rheumatology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. He has completed training across the world, graduating with a medical degree from the University of Queensland-Ochsner Clinical School, with subsequent residency training in Connecticut and North Carolina.

Prior to his medical career, Dr. Malik studied philosophy. This background has taught him to combine the scientific rigor of his work with an ethically centered approach that values patients as people first. He is an eager educator and previously worked at a U.S. startup as a teacher for foreign high school students.
