Alexa Mader has been a practicing pharmacist since 2018. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. She also has a minor in Public Health. 

After graduation, she completed a post-graduate residency program at Sibley Memorial Hospital | Johns Hopkins Medicine in Washington D.C. She currently works there full-time as a clinical pharmacist where her practice is focused on inpatient and outpatient oncology services. Alexa has been published in the Journal of Perinatal Medicine for her research in obstetrics.
