Experience

Aditya Sreenivasan, MD, is a general gastroenterologist at Lenox Hill Hospital with a clinical focus in colon cancer screening, reflux disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. Throughout his career, he's authored and co-authored 13 publications examining topics ranging from esophageal dysplasia to endoscopy innovation. He has also presented several posters and abstracts at the World Congress of Gastroenterology and Digestive Disease Week, including a poster of distinction for his work in quality improvement in 2021. 

Apart from his clinical work, he is the associate program director for the Lenox Hill Hospital gastroenterology fellowship and serves as the quality Improvement lead for the division of gastroenterology.

Education

Dr. Sreenivasan received his bachelor's degree in neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. He completed both his medical school and internal medicine training at the New York University’s School of Medicine, where he also became board certified in internal medicine. He received his gastroenterology training at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and North Shore University Hospital, and served as chief fellow during his third year of fellowship.
