Experience

Rhiannon Koehler, DVM, MPH has been involved in veterinary medicine for over a decade. Her clinical practice has mostly revolved around providing care to shelter animals, low-cost services to underprivileged families, and wellness care for pet parents.

Prior to moving into part-time clinical practice and part-time business ownership, Koehler was a lead veterinarian at an animal shelter in the Kansas City area. She is currently an associate veterinarian at another local animal shelter and low-cost clinic.

In 2022, Koehler founded her writing business, Evergreen Medical Writing, LLC. Her business primarily focuses on improving client education in the veterinary space by providing veterinarian-written and veterinarian-reviewed content. She also crosses into public health and human health through her work on biomedical grants with small businesses.
