Amy Gragnolati, PharmD, BCPS, is a pharmacy editor for GoodRx. Amy currently holds her pharmacist license in Georgia and California. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy.
After completing her education, she worked as a clinical pharmacist at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital, where she specialized in pediatric intensive care, oncology, and cardiac care. She then worked as a clinical pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco in addiction medicine and recovery services and family medicine.
At Kaiser, Amy precepted multiple pharmacy students and residents. She helped create a smoking cessation program for Kaiser patients and educated hundreds of people on strategies to quit tobacco. She also led a program to help patients reduce their use of prescription opioids and benzodiazepines.
Outside of her pharmacy career, Amy served as the vice curator for the World Economic Forum Global Shapers San Francisco Chapter from 2019 to 2020. She also founded and served as the chief operating officer at LONA, a nonprofit organization in San Francisco, from 2017 to 2020. She was awarded the “We Rise” scholarship from The Hivery in 2018, which supports women working towards equality.
Amy received her 200-hour yoga teacher training from School Yoga Institute in 2020. She’s also an avid baker and owns her own home-bakery called Baked and Nourished.
Amy earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Athens, Georgia. She completed her postgraduate pharmacy residency at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
