Central Precocious Puberty

Central precocious puberty (CPP) is a condition in which puberty occurs at an earlier age in children than what is considered normal (usually under the age of 9). CPP occurs when the brain releases hormones too early.

Treatments includes taking medication. A common drug class used to treat CPP is the gonadotropin releasing hormone agonists drug class.
