Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at the University at Buffalo
Key experience in community and specialty pharmacy
Passionate about improving access and education for vaccinations
One of my priorities as a healthcare professional is to lead compassionate and informative interactions, regardless if it’s virtual or in person. I have learned that the key to doing this successfully is by being fully transparent, establishing a level of trust, and working in a partnership with your patient to fulfill their healthcare needs.
— Wiktoria Jedrzejczyk, PharmD Candidate
Wiktoria has worked in community pharmacy since 2017 as a pharmacy technician and pharmacy intern for Wegmans Food Markets. While interning at Wegmans, Wiktoria led a project focused on building stronger relationships with patients through education about the Shingrix vaccine — which prevents shingles. She has also had the opportunity to participate in various COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinics throughout the years.
In her time at University at Buffalo, Wiktoria has shown dedication in advocating for her profession and for medication safety within her roles as policy vice president and over-the-counter medicine safety co-chair for the American Pharmacists Association and Academy of Student Pharmacists.
Wiktoria is also a member of the Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society and has the role of class treasurer for the University at Buffalo Pharmacy class of 2023. She has also had the opportunity to work with first year pharmacy students as a lead teaching assistant for Pharmaceutical Care I (PHM 515).
Wiktoria is currently in her final year of graduate school and is in the process of receiving her Doctor of Pharmacy degree through the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
