Nishika Reddy, MD, is an attending physician at the University of Utah. She provides comprehensive and cornea medical care at the Moran Eye Center and serves as clinical assistant professor. She is affiliated with the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, Women in Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
In medical school, Reddy helped lead the Kansas City Free Eye Clinic as both a clinic director and a board member. She provided medical services for underserved populations. During her residency, she served on the Patient Safety Council Board for Tulane University School of Medicine. Her research in topics related to glaucoma and the cornea have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
She has been practicing medicine for 3 years and has a special interest in corneal diseases such as dry eye and keratoconus. She worked for a time in private practice in Ohio.
After completing her medical degree with honors at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Reddy completed an internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois. She then graduated from the ophthalmology residency at Tulane University. Reddy went on to complete a surgical cornea fellowship at Ohio State University.
She has been board certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology since 2021.
