Mae-Mae Han, a PharmD Candidate at Butler University, has worked as a pharmacy intern in a community pharmacy for 3 years. She’s also a member of the Rho Chi pharmacy honor society and Phi Delta Chi professional pharmacy fraternity. Previously, she served as president of Students of Color Allied in Healthcare.
Outside of pharmacy, Han held leadership positions in Butler’s Asian & Pacific Islander Alliance for 4 years, including 1.5 years she spent serving as the organization’s president. She also wrote for the student newspaper, The Butler Collegian, for 4 years, and served as the managing editor for 2 years. During her time at the Collegian, she won multiple awards, including a regional first-place Mark of Excellence Award for in-depth reporting from the Society of Professional Journalists.
Her career thus far has held a sharp focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, whether she’s giving a guest lecture, organizing educational student programming, or counseling patients in the community pharmacy in their native language.
Mae-Mae Han is a Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate at Butler University, graduating in the spring of 2025. At Butler, she completed a concentration in medical Spanish.
