Board-certified in clinical practice (2006 to 2016)
Special interest in adolescent mental health
I entered pediatrics because I wanted to be a teacher. The way our bodies work is fascinating, and I believed I could share that fascination with everyone. In clinical practice, I rarely had time to teach and share as much as I wanted to — even though I firmly believe people deserve to understand their bodies and their health and take better care of themselves when they do. Writing for GoodRx allows me to dive deep into the questions people have about their health and give them agency to make healthy decisions about how to live their lives.
