Timothy Aungst, PharmD, has worked in pharmacy practice for the past decade with different roles and responsibilities. He has served as an associate professor of pharmacy practice for almost a decade, a clinical pharmacist in outpatient cardiology management, and now in home healthcare. He was also a leader in raising awareness and creating educational directives for digital health in the pharmacy profession, working with national and international organizations. He is a recognized writer and speaker on digital health.
Timothy has given over 50 national and international talks on the role of technology in pharmacy practice. He has also published over 40 peer-reviewed papers in journals and has written over 250 online articles on pharmacy and digital health.
He is known as “The Digital Apothecary” within the pharmacy community and serves on advisory boards for national pharmacy organizations related to digital health.
Timothy completed his Doctorate of Pharmacy at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete a postgraduate year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy practice residency at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Afterward, he completed a clinical geriatric fellowship with the pharmacy outreach program at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, Massachusetts.
