— Ross Phan, PharmD, BCACP, BCGP, BCPS
Ross Phan is a board-certified clinical pharmacist. She has roughly two decades of healthcare experience — with most of her experience being pharmacy related. Initially, Ross had a career interest in academia and community before transitioning into management and ambulatory care. She had the opportunity to substitute for her pharmaceutics professor in providing a lab lecture. She also prepared and gave lectures during tutoring sessions for pharmacokinetics. Ross was invited as a guest speaker to offer guidance to students who were interested in pursuing pharmacy or research. Presently, she practices as a remote pharmacist for several hospitals and facilities. This experience has led to multiple board certifications.
She is also the founder of Off Script Consults, which networks and collaborates with businesses to strive toward improving the quality of life of people with chronic health conditions, caregivers, and healthcare providers. This company helps her strive toward her goal of combining her passions, which include pharmacy, telehealth, education, and writing.
Through her efforts, she has received multiple awards for her excellence and dedication to patient care. She also received recognition for her great work as a preceptor. Her pharmacy consulting business also gave her time to provide career advice for fellow pharmacists and pharmacy students.
Ross Phan earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Texas Christian University, a professional doctorate degree in pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin, and a master’s in business from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. She also has board certifications in ambulatory care, geriatrics, and pharmacotherapy.
