Benita Lee, MPH, is director of content and operations at GoodRx and contributes to content strategy and process management across editorial and product initiatives. She is passionate about building collaborative teams and has a deep interest in using research to improve health outcomes in innovative and sustainable ways.
Prior to GoodRx, she was head of content at Labdoor. Her work has been cited by leading publications, including TIME, PBS Frontline, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and Los Angeles Times.
Before her career in tech, Benita piloted assessments on food scarcity, maternal mortality, and healthcare access, and helped develop healthcare initiatives in the U.S. and abroad. She also co-authored award-winning research on medical bankruptcy and devoted her time to clinical research, exploring areas like corneal surgery techniques, serotonergic pathway regulation, and the relationships between lifestyle factors and disease.
Benita is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and holds bachelor’s degrees in molecular and cell biology and integrative biology. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Loma Linda University with concentrations in epidemiology and global health
