Sabrina Qiao is a writer, journalist, and actress. Currently, she teaches creative nonfiction at Columbia University, where she obtained her MFA and received a Dean's Grant. Her work has been published in Refinery29, ElectricLit, the Delacorte Review, and JoySauce, among other publications. Prior to pursuing a writing career, she worked as a business consultant, specializing in healthcare.
Right now, she's working on expanding her undergraduate thesis into a memoir about her parents' experiences during the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Sabrina has a master of arts in creative nonfiction writing from Columbia University, where she was a Chairs Fellow and a fellow for the Nonfiction Dialogues program. As an undergraduate, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where her thesis won the creative writing thesis prize.
