Reyan Schroter, Pharm.D., is a seasoned pharmacist with 13 years of experience. She began her career at ACME Markets, where her dedication and professionalism quickly propelled her to the position of manager. In this role, she oversaw operations and mentored young pharmacy interns, earning a reputation for her patient-centric approach and deep connections with individuals.
Recognizing the limitations of traditional pharmaceuticals, Schroter pursued certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Health to work in medical marijuana dispensaries.
Currently, Schroter is a key player at Curaleaf, pioneering cannabis therapy since 2020. She actively participates in educational events with the International Society of Cannabis Pharmacists and the Society of Cannabis Clinicians. Additionally, she assists patients in research studies at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on cannabis use in patients with cancer, seizures, and pain.
As a leader of the STEM employee resource group at Curaleaf, Schroter fosters a culture of education and science within the company. She champions the understanding of plant medicine, organizing monthly educational events nationwide. Her vision is to create an inclusive space where plant medicine is respected and valued.
Schroter earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 2011. During her academic journey, she served as the president of the Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Honor Society and was an active member of Phi Lambda Sigma, the pharmacy leadership society. Schroter’s dedication to service was recognized with numerous accolades, including the prestigious Margaret Mary Culin Memorial Award, which honors a PharmD candidate who exemplifies “service above self.” Additionally, she showcased her expertise by placing in the top 10 at the American Pharmacists Association’s national patient counseling competition.
