Experience

Ken Devoe is a freelance writer with over 35 years of experience in his profession. He has written for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups, major universities, and nonprofits. 

Ken’s more notable projects include writing the script for a video that helped Yale University raise millions of dollars from alumni for the most ambitious renovation project in the 300-plus year history of the school. He wrote an award-winning documentary about Israel’s first 50 years of existence and the contributions made by the Jewish community of greater New Haven, Connecticut, to the country’s independence and evolution. Ken also ghostwrites an ongoing series of articles for a renowned physician and surgeon on general fitness, health, and well-being.

In the past, Ken has been an adjunct professor of communications at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven and taught copywriting for the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. And he has volunteered for a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Special Olympics Connecticut. 

Ken’s writing has been recognized and honored by the Clio Awards, the Hartford Advertising Club, the Advertising Club of New York, and the Retail Advertising Conference.

Education

Ken, who was born and raised in Chicago, graduated first in his class from the prestigious and highly regarded Latin School of Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and graduated cum laude.
