As everyone knows, life is expensive. And, if you’re low on funds, it can be overwhelming. That’s why I like writing for GoodRx and personal finance articles in general: Anything I can do to help people make their money go further means that I can sleep a little better at night.

Experience

Geoff Williams has been a journalist since 1992, when he got his start in entertainment journalism and then branched out into business writing and personal finance. Over the years, he has written forLife magazine, Ladies' Home Journal, CNN Money, Reuters, Consumer Reports, the Washington Post, Entrepreneur magazine, and Forbes, among others. He has been a regular weekly contributor for U.S. News & World Report since 2013, writing personal finance articles. He also has written several nonfiction books, including “C.C. Pyle’s Amazing Foot Race” (Rodale) and “Washed Away: How the Great Flood of 1913, America’s Most Widespread Natural Disaster, Terrorized a Nation and Changed It Forever” (Pegasus Books).

Geoff’s proudest accomplishment, by far, has been to successfully raise two daughters, who are now on the cusp of adulthood and have promising futures ahead. When he isn’t writing personal finance articles, he writes the pop-culture blog “The TV Professor” for fun.
