My personal motto is: "Shine with great effulgence." I learned the word “effulgent” during my freshman year of high school and it has stuck with me ever since. Effulgent is an adjective which means to “shine forth brilliantly.” I pride myself in doing everything effulgently and hope to inspire others to do the same through my contributions as a writer in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space and beyond.
