GoodRx API Usage Guide
Please note that GoodRx's full API Terms of Use contained in your GoodRx API Distributorship Agreement shall at all times govern your use of the GoodRx API. This guide is meant as a supplement to, but not a replacement for, GoodRx's full API Terms of Use.
Our Marks, Logos & Content
“GoodRx” is a trademark of GoodRx, Inc. and may only be used in keeping with the license granted to you in the GoodRx API Distributorship Agreement. We expect that any use of GoodRx's logos or trademarks will link to www.goodrx.com. You must obtain our prior written consent if you want to use GoodRx Content for non-consumer purposes.
Give Us Credit
Wherever you display the GoodRx Content, you must prominently display our logo or include a link stating “Powered by GoodRx”. Also, don't claim ownership, responsibility or sponsorship for GoodRx Content.
Display Our Terms
Certain GoodRx Content may have special terms associated with such content. If GoodRx sends this information via API, it must be displayed in accordance with our instructions.
Do Not Store GoodRx Data
The GoodRx API is for real time user-driven requests. Don't capture information from the API for later use. This is especially important because prescription prices change so frequently that such data will become quickly outdated. It is also contractually prohibited by our API Terms of Use and is grounds for suspension or termination of your GoodRx API Distributorship Agreement.
Integrate us to Add Value
The purpose of our API Distributorship Agreement is integration within your own user experience. Such designs will need to be pre-approved by GoodRx. Note that the API is not intended for licensors to recreate the functionality of GoodRx's own website or mobile apps, in which case we recommend simply linking to the GoodRx website.
Enable Links
In order for users to compare prices on their specific drugs, it is essential that users are able to click back to the GoodRx website. Ensure these links are always active.
Do Not Use Alongside Other Price Sources
Do not confuse users by placing us alongside other drug pricing programs. This is expressly prohibited in our GoodRx API Distributorship Agreement and is grounds for suspension or termination.
Never Redesign GoodRx Content
You may not alter our logo, graphics, or the GoodRx Content.
For Your Mobile/App Experience
Have clear GoodRx branding on the app/mobile pages where you are using and/or incorporating GoodRx content. On platforms where GoodRx also has a mobile application, we may require you to link directly to our application instead of our mobile site.
