Will my appointment be with a doctor?

MinuteClinics are staffed by certified family nurse practitioners and physician assistants who provide care for a variety of common medical conditions and prescribe medication when medically appropriate.* They also can administer vaccinations, physicals, and other wellness services.

What’s the difference between going to a MinuteClinic® and doing a virtual visit with GoodRx Care?

The main differences between these two convenient care options are how you will be seen, and who you will be seen by. If you choose a virtual visit with GoodRx Care, you’ll connect with a Provider via phone or video, but you cannot schedule a future appointment for this option.

If you prefer or need to be seen in-person, you can schedule an appointment at a MinuteClinic®, where you’ll be seen by a certified family nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Think about which makes more sense for your condition and which is most convenient.

MinuteClinic® offers the same high-quality care you expect from an urgent care center or emergency department, but their services vary. Urgent care centers offer expanded services, including X-rays. Emergency rooms are best for medical care when you are experiencing a life-threatening illness or injury such as a heart attack or severe bleeding.
