About Prevacid

Lansoprazole (Prevacid) is a moderately priced drug used to treat GERD, heartburn, gastric ulcer, and duodenal ulcer. It works by reducing acid in the stomach. It is slightly more popular than comparable drugs. It is available in generic and brand versions. Generic lansoprazole is covered by most Medicare and insurance plans, but some pharmacy coupons or cash prices may be lower.
