Recall of Infants’ Motrin

Elizabeth Davis - September 09, 2013

Manufacturer McNeil Consumer Healthcare is recalling three lots of their Infants’ Motrin (ibuprofen). The recall includes only the Concentrated Motrin Infants’ Drops Original Berry Flavor 1/2 fl oz bottles, and does not include the dye-free version, or any other children’s or adult Motrin products.

Plastic particles were found in a lot that was not released for sale, but because the particles were determined to have originated from a shipment of the active ingredient, ibuprofen, all lots made with the same batch of ibuprofen are being recalled. See More
