Qsymia Now Available at Local Pharmacies

by Elizabeth Davis on July 11, 2013 at 4:27 am

Approved by the FDA for weight loss late last year, Qsymia (phentermine/topiramate) was initially available only through a home delivery program, meaning you couldn’t just go to your local pharmacy and fill your prescription.

Starting this month however, Qsymia will be available at certain local pharmacies. It still requires a prescription, and the selection of pharmacies is limited, but the change should offer more flexibility, and allow you to get started on the treatment sooner.

At the moment, only Walgreens, Duane Reade, and Costco are considered certified pharmacies; others still won’t be able to dispense Qsymia locally. The home delivery program is also still available, through CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Express Scripts.

Qsymia offers a certified pharmacy locator, and you can find more information on the home delivery program here.

You can also find Qsymia coupons here.
