What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a skin condition that causes the skin to become red and inflamed. Symptoms include skin redness, blushing, a red nose, skin sores, and visible blood vessels.

There is no cure for rosacea, however, medication can be taken to reduce symptoms. Common drug classes used to treat rosacea are cicarboxylic acids, nitroimidazole antibiotics, sulfa antibiotics, and tetracycline antibiotics.
