Generic Zegerid

Omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate (Zegerid) is an expensive drug used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers, erosive esophagitis, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). This drug is slightly less popular than comparable drugs. It is available in brand and generic versions. It is not covered by most Medicare and insurance plans, but some manufacturer and pharmacy coupons can help offset the cost. Compare proton pump inhibitors.
