ACE Inhibitors

Fosinopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used in the treatment of hypertension and heart failure. It is only available as a generic, and in combination with the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide (as fosinopril/hctz). Brand name Monopril had the same active ingredient, but has been discontinued. ARBs (Diovan, losartan) are a similar class of blood pressure medications.
